The phrase spirituality in business is not heard often. Just as we are looking at the effects of how we have been living our lives on the environment, on our health, on relationships we need to examine how we have been conducting business.

In business programs, they tiptoe around the spiritual words that are common-place in other circles. I believe we have reached a point in time where we can merge the two without scepticism. The intention and meaning behind the different words used is most often the same or similar.

Businesses typically use the term “goal setting” or “visualizations” rather than “intuitive insight” yet they are similar processes. Science and spirituality are not as different as many would believe.

Many brilliant scientists have had very strong beliefs in God and spirituality. Science is beginning to corroborate the beliefs of the spiritual community in the existence of things we used to believe could not be substantiated.

When we coach a business, we use intuitive insights that can access a bigger picture than a business “brainstorming” session might.  While accessing the Akashic Records or higher insight we add a uniquely different insight and deeply spiritual dimension.

We access the inherent wisdom of the company itself. This would be what the actual intention of the company was when it was created which is different from an owner simply willing and actively creating a business.

There is a deeply spiritual purpose behind that creation which may not be obvious or consciously “known” by the owners. The urge to create a business starts with an insight, a wish, a hope for a specific outcome. The intuition of the founders and managers plays an enormous part in the process.

However, we can become stuck in the logical and analytical  aspect. We may not know why the business is slow or foundering, we may not know if, or how or why certain staff are not the right fit or are in conflict with each other.

Providing an owner and management team with this additional information will provide the company with an extremely valuable “competitive edge” and information on how best to manage and “grow” the business.
